We're number 49 in line today so we're about half way through the parade.
Everyone is enjoying breakfast and getting focused on what they're about to do.

Happy New Year to all of you. Thanks again for the update and will be watching for you bright and early at 6 a.m.
Special thanks to those who keep updating this site. You are doing a great job.
Hey, this is Colleen Kenney, a reporter with the Journal Star back here in Lincoln (and mom to Aidan Fleischer, band member!)
I just saw you guys on TV. You were terrific! I'd love to write a story about you guys. I can get a lot from your blog. But can someone email me directly to tell me how the marching went?
(colleenfle@hotmail.com AND ckenney@journalstar.com) Any fun stories from the day and the trip you think our readers would like to hear about?
Also, could someone email some photos to images@journalstar.com and also to colleenfle@hotmail.com.
THANKS and have fun the rest of the trip.
Colleen
YOU GUYS ROCK! Just saw you in the parade, have been watching it live since 6 am. Nice straight lines, great sound, lots of smiles. Guess you actually are in London and now I have proof! Have a great rest of your trip and HAPPY NEW YEAR!

p.s. nice cap Mr. Nielsen
YOU GUYS ROCKED!!!
Looked like East had one of, if not the largest bands in the parade. You sounded and looked great and got a great ovation. Congratulations.
Go Spartans!!!

Hi, this is Colleen Kenney with the Lincoln Journal Star (and Aidan Fleischer's mom). I just watched you on TV. You were terrific!
I'd love to write a story on you all for tomorrow's paper. Could you send fun stories, comments about the parade and the trip to London to ckenney@journalstar.com AND colleenfle@hotmail.com?
Also, could you send photos to images@journalstar.com and say it's" for Colleen Kenney's story on Lincoln East band"?
Thanks! Oh, and can you do this by 8 p.m. London time so I can make my deadline?
Cheerio.
