Monday, December 29th

The weather forecast is for sunny skies, but cold today. It will be great to see the sun.
Everyone's been given a wakeup call and should be moving towards our buffet breakfast soon.
Check back later this evening for today's pictures and an update on our day.

These updates are great. It is great to hear about the day's activities and experiences and see pictures of the kids. We saw our son in one of them and that was even better. Hope to see more pictures.

Pictures are still fuzzy when clicked on to view at larger size.

We heard an update on KFOR @ 7: 45 a.m. by Dave H. He said that Lance was to be calling KFOR but that they had not heard from him. Dave H. then gave a general update what was planned for the day's activities.

We called KFOR and let Dave H. know that the London group was working on the internet and phone connections. Also, directed him to the band website for more information.

Have fun and look forward to more of the updates.

It is great to see pictures and read about the day's activities and experiences. One of the pictures showed our son and that was special to see him having fun.

Pictures still come out large and somewhat blurry when we click on the thumbnails but understand that is getting fixed.

Keep those pictures coming. Make us feel like we are there with all of you.
KFOR had their regular update at 7:45 a.m. about the band being in London.

Dave H., KFOR announcer, said he was waiting for Mr. Nielsen to call and talk with him but did not get call or could not make connection. Dave H. reviewed the day's activities and hopes that they will be able to make connections with Mr. Nielsen in the upcoming days. KFOR is doing a great job.

We called Dave H. to let him know that the band was having difficulty with internet access and getting phone calls back to the U.S. Referred him the band web site if he wanted to have updated info from London.

We have had lots of positive comments from friends and others we have met during store visits, church activities, etc. who have saw the Channel 10-11 spot on the band video and heard about the band being in London from KFOR. They think its great that the kids have this unique opportunity and represent Lincoln and East High.

Again, Thanks to those who have put this site together and are adding to it.

P.S. If you see our daughter Megan, tell her "hi" from us. She is in Rich Hubka's group.

I want to be in London! It sounds like you all are having fun and probably too busy to get home sick. We have one with the UNL band in Jacksonville FL and Taylor in London. If you see Taylor Hiemer...make sure she is taking lots and lots of pictures with the camera that I had to run up to Omaha to give her when they checked in their luggage! Looking forward to more updates! Bob and Cathy Hiemer
